It’s finally started to rain!
A few big showers, and our water situation has dramatically improved. We’ve filled up pretty much all of our 120,000 gallons of cisterns, and there is more rain to come.
Plants and trees are looking a lot better and happier, the grass is slowly recuperating, though we still have a number of dead patches.
It’s been a very long drought, but things are looking up now!
We’re planting our vegetable gardens, and our fruit trees are producing too. We already mentioned our avocados in the previous blog, but we also have mango, citrus fruit, guava, and passion fruit. Soon we’ll have various types of banana too. All organic, of course. Come and share!
