This was such a beautiful experience. My boyfriend and I, both in our early 20s, arrived at the property after a long 5.5 hour drive from Punta Cana. We walked in the home to soup, sandwiches, and homemade juice waiting, all complimentary. The following morning, we received a warm welcome from Frans and Cristina. Cristina is the best hostess you will ever encounter. She will make you feel like family. Although the property is definitely off the beaten path, and it is a challenge with the unpaved road getting up there, the experience is well worth it. The pictures just don’t do the property and the view justice. We will definitely be back before April.

If you are looking to escape and get away to a private retreat that is peaceful and quiet, with amenities you have found the right place. Be prepared for the journey to the final destination but once you arrive it will be perfectly clear what all the fuss is about. I had a wonderful relaxing experience and would do it again! Thank you again for you wonderful hospitality!!

Beautiful clean place with killer views! Way off the beaten path but that was exactly what we were looking for. The people in the area are very friendly. My wife went on an 8 mile run continuing up the dirt road and felt very safe and comfortable by herself. Can’t say that about all of the DR :).

Frans and Cristina was a beautiful home to stay at. We enjoyed the whole villa and felt right at home when we got there. Spectacular view!

La casa es hermosa, cómoda y espaciosa. Tal cual las fotos. Frans y Cristina fueron muy serviciales y atentos, así como sus empleados. Definitivamente me quedaría de nuevo, pero cuando la piscina esté lista. El camino no es apto para carros bajitos, pero no es motivo para dejar de ir.

Nuestra estadía en la casa de Cristina fue excelente. Es una casa muy grande, LIMPIA, con una vista increíble. Lo que mas nos gusto fueron los pequeños detalles: una bienvenida con frutas del jardín, las atenciones de Cristina, walkie talkies para comunicarnos con ella (vive al lado) si teníamos cualquier solicitud, etc. La casa no tiene muy fácil acceso si no tienes vehículo 4×4, pero no es imposible llegar (no teníamos 4×4 y todo bien). Gracias por todo Cristina, fue un placer!

I strongly recommend Frans’s place for your residential choice. It offers the best that Puerto Plata has to offer. It provides a countryside setting that offers a closeness to nature. It is close to the city; you have ocean view and a short drive to the beach. Frans and his staff make you feel like one of the family. You will not be sorry you chose at this location.
