This website tells you all about Dream View Estate, a 6.2 hectare / 15 acre real estate development in the Dominican Republic, in a beautiful green environment in the hills overlooking the city of Puerto Plata, the major city on the Dominican North Coast. Our place is for people who enjoy peace, quiet, space and fresh ocean breezes in a rural, forested environment.
But not too far from the crowd. It’s only a ten minute drive to Puerto Plata, fifteen minutes to the beach and town centre, and 45 and 60 minutes to the beaches of Sosua and Cabarete. Puerto Plata international airport is at 45 minutes.
Villas with ocean view for sale
Presently we have two villas at Dream View Estate, which are built in such a way they can be used either as one home or as two independent apartments. Both villas are for sale. They are unique in design, with ample light inside due to large windows and sliding doors offering a full view of the ocean, Puerto Plata, the surrounding hills, and Mount Isabel de Torres. Windows and doors on the ocean side are unencumbered by bars and open up on large balconies. For security both homes have advanced alarm systems, which together with our staff offer 24 hour security.
We, the owners-managers, live in one apartment, the other three can be rented while the villas are for sale.
Building lots for sale
We also offer building lots, again with that beautiful ocean view. Lots range in size from about 850 m2 to 1500 m2, all with title. There are two larger forested areas that have not been sub-divided.
When you buy a lot you can build your own home or we can have it built for you, according to your specifications. We ensure any home is built in such a manner it does not block the view of other homes, present or future.
Project for Sale
We, the owners-managers, are also willing to sell the entire project, less one lot we would want to keep for building a new home. We are not professional real estate developers or managers, and would be happy to see someone take over those roles in the somewhat longer run.
Apartments for rent
We have three apartments for rent; renting an entire villa or a room is also possible. All are listed on Airbnb, for more information see Renting. We have very attractive long term rates, and like to cater in particular to digital nomads: people working through internet. We have fibre optic cable with high speed internet!
Amenities
We have a communal pool area with a 6 m by 15 m infinity pool, ample terraces, a gazebo and a Jacuzzi – again, all with that spectacular view over the city, the surrounding hills and the ocean. Below the pool area a series of cisterns will ensure an adequate water supply, now and in the future.
